Unlock Indonesia's Fast-Growing Energy Storage Market
Indonesia is entering a major new phase of battery and energy storage development. Under the 2025–2034 Electricity Supply Business Plan (RUPTL), the country targets 69.5 GW of additional power capacity, with around 76% coming from renewable energy and energy storage, creating strong demand for flexible and reliable power infrastructure.
By 2034, Indonesia plans to develop approximately 10.3 GW of energy storage capacity, including around 6 GW / 27 GWh of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The acceleration of solar power, industrial expansion, data centers, mineral downstreaming, electric mobility, and renewable-energy integration is expected to further drive demand for advanced battery and storage technologies.
Battery & Energy Storage Indonesia 2027 provides a strategic business platform connecting battery manufacturers, BESS providers, system integrators, technology companies, project developers, EPC contractors, utilities, investors, and industrial energy users to explore Indonesia’s rapidly expanding energy storage market.
Held alongside Solartech Indonesia 2027, the exhibition creates an integrated Solar + Storage + Smart Energy ecosystem, covering battery technologies, BESS, power conversion, energy management, grid solutions, and renewable-energy integration.
